The SAIL for Education Assessment Center consists of two professional development cycles, both include a 360º assessment including feedback from your staff and supervisors.
The first cycle has two learners in mind: the Entry-Year Principal and the Experienced Principal. Both groups have their own distinct learning tracts within the first cycle that provide you with an opportunity to examine your skill sets against the standards to which you are being held accountable such as ISLLC and NSDC, as well as a DISC assessment, a multi-level learning instrument to help you assess the degree to which you utilize behavior styles.
The 360º Assessment, School-Level Indicators of Instructional Leadership, an original assessment developed by SAIL for Education specifically for educational leaders targets:
Each staff member and supervisor invited to join you in your assessment offers valuable insights to your performance and knowledge as an instructional leader. The combined results of staff, supervisor and self are presented in a report to you highlighting your strengths and areas of need. A Personal Learning Plan is automatically generated recommending resources that could turn those needs into strengths.
“I have learned a great deal from not only the readings but also the onsite meetings where we have opportunities to exchange ideas and information. I am looking forward to next year’s programming.”
