The SAIL program provides a unique opportunity for administrators to not only participate in job-embedded learning that is fully applicable in daily tasks, but also credits for both state-required continuing education and credits toward a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.

Continuing Education Opportunities

In Ohio, SAIL is approved as one of only two entry-year programs for newly licensed/newly employed school administrators to advance from their initial two-year provisional license to a five-year professional license. The entry-year program is required for all newly licensed/newly employed school administrators. The programs serve K-12 administrators. SAIL is also approved for licensure renewal for Ohio school administrators K-12.

In California, SAIL is approved as a Professional Clear Alternative Administrative Services Credential Program (August 12, 2004) by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The programs serve K-12 administrators.

Graduate Credit & Doctoral Degree Opportunities

SAIL is embedded within two doctoral programs offered by Northcentral University in Prescott, AZ. Northcentral University provides the first fully online Ph.D. program for educators in the United States. Participants can take advantage of a fast track Ed.D. or Ph.D. in leadership that is both cost and time effective. Since this program is online, there are no residency requirements. Students work at a pace that fits their overall schedule and lifestyle. In addition to the doctoral programs, SAIL is approved for graduate credit at Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio.
