The SAIL for Education professional development program consists of two years of professional development institutes and a comprehensive 360º assessment center.

The institute cycles address the key skills and competencies a successful instructional leader must possess to ensure the academic achievement of each student. The assessments identify strengths and weaknesses as well as the gaps among staff, supervisor, and participant's perceptions and actuality.
